One just needs little more space….

Be it a car, or your home or your office or your personal life, everyone deserves a little bit more of that space.  


Many a times we come across such incidences in life, when we think we are too much exhausted with daily chores of life and want that own space which nowadays is called “Me Time”.


I hope all of us always go through this phase of life when we have a kid and have lots of lots of things to do and don’t get that little bit of me time. 


It’s a difficult journey , specially for the mother as she has to take care of the baby 24*7 , be it the diapers or the milk or the sleep or the bath or whatever one can think of.  And really that cannot be just done by the father or anyone else. They all can support her but ultimately it’s the mother who has to do her own duty.  With all these situations , the moms still love the child and take care of him selflessly. Can’t describe Motherhood in words.  It’s just unique!!


On the other hand, a father as everyone knows is an enabler of the services which are required to take care of the baby and enable the mother to nourish them. But an average common man, after performing all his official duties and also the duties of a father also needs that space which enables him to manage everything and be composed to tackle every situation in life that may arise. It is always thought that motherhood is toughest but fatherhood is equally difficult as there are so many things going around in the mind of a father (the finances, parents, work load, home etc. etc .) that he only can understand who is a father.  


It’s a humble request to all the great parents out there, we know that you are going out through a lot just after delivery of your child and seriously things get better with each passing day. But to make the journey even better and easier for both the mother and the father, always try to find that extra space, that me time and encourage your partner to do the same…..

The Lost Art of Waiting

     It’s that time of the year, for which we wait eagerly, every passing month for the whole year. Since childhood, the auspicious festival of Diwali and the vacations that compliment the festival, have had a memorable imprint in our lives. Then, it used to be chutti ( holidays ) from the school and now it is more of chutti only, but from Work ! The fervour starts with travel plan, months in advance, during the Ganesha Chaturthi festival ( that time of the year, which marks the arrival of festive season throughout India ).       So, we are back to our roots, with the loved ones, who wait for us eagerly, during the whole year, making preparations for the ‘Dhanteras’, ‘Laxmi Pooja’, ‘Govardhan Pooja’ and other local festive events. My Solo Trip with................ Kabir

          I am not sure if that's only with Kabir or with every kid out there, but they seem to be very much fascinated by trains. As Kabir's daadu (grandfather) is building a new home for his youngest bestie, we often travel to our native place to help him out and obviously, let Kabir enjoy the trains .
