Unleash yourself !

     Many a times, when one sets on a journey they think it’s the journey they always wanted and they always had wished for. But there come circumstances in life, which lead you to think again and start fresh. This is the story of someone very close to me and unarguably the person who has taught me how to succeed in life even when things are not in your favour. 

     It’s her last day at the current job which she loves so much and is really the person meant for that role. Since the day she filed her resignation, days have been passing counting those notice period days. And finally it’s the day when she bid farewell to all her colleagues some of whom had connected to her personally. She appears to be strong when I asked her about the day and the overall send off ceremony on her office but somewhere deep down I know there is lot of uncertainty and mixed feelings for what’s ahead !

    As most of the colleagues described about her performance and presence at the office to be lively and flawless about the work, I know why she is so great at it. It’s because it’s not work for her.  It’s like a passion which keeps her going to know more, to do more, to learn more. Very rarely we find people who really love their jobs and she is one of those rare species.  

    But what I know better about her is that creative industry is the one she is meant for and I always have inspired her for that. Currently, it’s a break for her but as per my intuition it’s the dawn before a new morning. The universe has grand plans for her as the reason for which she had to leave her favourite job is also something grand (any guesses !)

    Some feelings can’t be expressed via words or in person. So this is my way of expressing the feelings I have for that special one. It’s your turn now to take your own time to relax, to rejuvenate, to take a break from the mundane, to think upon the next as the sun sets for the next sunrise. You must have already started to work upon it. So wishes from my side and all the readers of this post for your next adventurous journey ! Go ahead silly ;)

आज सुबह मैं रामबाबू कैंटीन नाश्ता करने गया, जो कि सेक्टर-3 में स्थित है (गणेश मंदिर के बाजू में)। अपनी भूख को देखते हुए सिर्फ एक इडली और एक सादा दोसा मंगवाया। अपनी प्लेट लेके बैठ ही रहा था, कि कुछ बच्चे वहाँ आके बैठने लगे । सब अलग-अलग उम्र के थे । उनको लेकर उनका बड़ा भाई आया था । मैं भी उनके पास ही बैठ गया । चारों बच्चों ने पूरी मंगवायी और बड़े चाव से खाने  लगे । उनको देख मेरा चंचल मन मुझे अपने बचपन की सुनहरी यादों में ले गया । जब में उन बच्चों की उम्र का था, शायद ही कभी हम ऐसे बाहर जाकर खाया करते थे। जो भी मन करता था, मम्मी घर में ही उसे स्वादिष्ट बना देती और हम पेट भर और जी भर खा कर तृप्त हो जाते । बिरले ऐसे मौके होते, जब पापा कुछ बाज़ार से ले आते, जो हमें खाना होता था । लेकिन आज कल शायद बाहर जाकर खाना खा लेना, शायद एक आम बात हो चुकी है ।  खाते खाते पता नहीं कैसे भूख गायब सी हो गयी। जितना थाली में था, वो भी खत्म नहीं कर पाया। शायद उस बचपन की सैर ने और माँ के हाथ के उन पकवानों से मेरा मन और पेट दोनों भर चुका था । पर बच्चों को बाजू में देख एक हिचक हुई, कि कैसे मैं वो दोसे के ट...

The Lost Art of Waiting

     It’s that time of the year, for which we wait eagerly, every passing month for the whole year. Since childhood, the auspicious festival of Diwali and the vacations that compliment the festival, have had a memorable imprint in our lives. Then, it used to be chutti ( holidays ) from the school and now it is more of chutti only, but from Work ! The fervour starts with travel plan, months in advance, during the Ganesha Chaturthi festival ( that time of the year, which marks the arrival of festive season throughout India ).       So, we are back to our roots, with the loved ones, who wait for us eagerly, during the whole year, making preparations for the ‘Dhanteras’, ‘Laxmi Pooja’, ‘Govardhan Pooja’ and other local festive events. My Solo Trip with................ Kabir

          I am not sure if that's only with Kabir or with every kid out there, but they seem to be very much fascinated by trains. As Kabir's daadu (grandfather) is building a new home for his youngest bestie, we often travel to our native place to help him out and obviously, let Kabir enjoy the trains .
